Prayer and
Intercession

Focus of Our
Intercession

We regularly gather to pray for the believers in Israel, the persecuted church, our nation’s government, and national revival. All prayer and intercession are offered with reverence, humility, and trust in the Lord’s power and faithfulness.

We invite you to join us as we seek God together in worship, prayer, and confident intercession.

Prayer
Knowing the Shepherd

The first time God is called Shepherd in Scripture appears in Genesis, when Jacob blessed Joseph and declared:

“The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day, the Angel who has redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads…” (Genesis 48:15–16)

Jacob testified that God’s shepherding resulted in divine oversight, redemption from evil, blessing, destiny, and multiplication, even in the midst of a hostile world. This personal language of “my Shepherd” finds its fullest expression in Psalm 23, where the care of God is experienced not abstractly, but intimately and personally.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down…
He leads me…
He restores my soul…
He guides me…
Though I walk through deep darkness, I fear no evil, for You are with me…
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies…
My cup overflows…
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me…
I shall dwell in the house of the Lord.”

What a Shepherd. What individual care. What confidence flows from a personal relationship with Jesus. God’s desire to shepherd each person profoundly shapes how we live, pray, and see the world. Because He is faithful and attentive, we are invited to bring every concern to Him in prayer.

When God revealed Himself to Moses, He described His nature as gracious, compassionate, and abounding in lovingkindness and mercy. God longs to be gracious to His people and cares for them more deeply than we often realize. Having given us Jesus, His very heart, to fully pay for our sins, He also desires to help us in every area of life.

We invite you to share your prayer needs with us. It would be our honor to believe God with you and to rejoice together as we witness His answers. Weekly prayer meetings are held regularly. Please consult our calendar for times and locations.

Our Values in Intercession

Worship is our first value

We believe prayer flows most powerfully from a heart that ministers to the Lord.

Scripture is central to our intercession

Biblical prayer shapes prayers that please God. When our prayers are submitted to the Word, we align ourselves with the apostles, the angels, and the saints who have gone before us.

Faith is essential

It takes faith in the revealed Word of God to believe that prayer and worship are worthwhile and effective. This faith forms the foundation for deeper prophetic intercession.

Servant-hearted cooperation is cultivated

The humility, flexibility, and loyalty modeled by Jesus are essential for leading and participating in corporate prayer.
